Another family favourite recipe can be enjoyed with the freshest meat and ingredients to bring out all the delectable flavours.
Pass the meat through a meat grinder using a medium cutting plate. Add the baharat, cinnamon, pepper, salt and parsley, mix well. Pass it again through the meat grinder. Make small balls of the mince and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Finely chop the onions & garlic in a food processor separately.
Place the meat balls on the rim of a plate and microwave high for 4 minutes uncovered. Keep aside.
In a casserole, add the oil and garlic and microwave high for 2 minutes uncovered. Add onions and cook on high for further 4 minutes.
Add the tomato puree, paste, spices and chicken stock and cook covered for 12 minutes on microwave high.
Add the meat balls & lemon juice, cook on high for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with fried onions, chopped parsley and roasted pine seeds and serve.
