Indispensable Safe and Clean Water
The water you drink and used in various situations must be safe and secure. High-quality pure water, which is free of impurities, bacteria, and viruses, and which are also free of substances that cause unpleasant odours and tastes, supports better everyday life.
Eliminates Invisible Harmful Impurities from Your Life
— Water Treatment
The essential filter cartridge provides reliable water quality
Our water purification technology thoroughly purifies your tap water by 4-stage filtration to provide safe, clean water.
The filters are made of four kinds of materials with different sized holes. Thanks to the ultrafiltration membrane, even viruses and 99.999% of bacteria are removed. Each filter works to eliminate substances as follows.
1 Non-woven fabric: Turbidity down to 5 μm (sediments, rust, other solid impurities)
2 Ceramic: Soluble lead
3 Activated carbon: Odour, taste, free residual chlorine, total trihalomethane, chloroform and other VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds)
4 Ultrafiltration type hollow fibre membrane: Virus, bacteria, turbidity, iron (fine particle), aluminium (neutral)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and Answers
Q: Is it all right to drink purified water if you are taking medication ?
A: Purified water can be used for drinking and cooking in addition to taking medication.
Q: Can I use hot water?
A: Do not use hot water above 35 degrees Celsius. It may cause a malfunction or release some of the substances adsorbed on the cartridge.
Q: I recovered from the water outage, can I use it immediately?
A: Due to the turbidity of tap water, equipment failure and cartridge usage period may be shortened.
Use your water purifier or alkaline ionizer after the tap water becomes clear.
If you cannot use it for several days, please pass it with purified water for 3 to 4 minutes. Also, if the product cannot be used for more than a month, the water in the cartridge may deteriorate, so it is recommended to replace the cartridge.
Q: How long can the purified water be stored ?
A: Use it within a day at room temperature. In the case of purified water, chlorine (disinfectants) in the tap water has been removed, which encourages the growth of general bacteria. Store the water in clean airtight containers and at most for two days, even in a refrigerator.
Typical Examples of Impurities Contained in Tap Water
| Free residual chlorine (calcium hypochlorite) | Chlorine used for disinfection in the water purification process that remains in the tap water. |
|---|---|
| Turbidity | Substances that interfere with the clarity of water, such as microscopic particles dispersed in the water. |
| Chloroform | One of the components of trihalomethane, which is produced by the reaction of free chlorine with organic substances in water during the water purification process. |
| Total trihalomethanes | A generic term for four types of trihalomethanes: chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, and bromoform. |
| Bromodichloromethane Dibromochloromethane Bromoform | Components of trihalomethanes formed by the reaction of free chlorine with organic substances in water during the water purification process. |
| Tetrachloroethylene | A volatile organochlorine compound used in dry cleaning agents, metal cleaning solvents, etc. |
| Trichloroethylene | A volatile organochlorine compound used in dry cleaning agents and metal cleaning agents. |
| CAT (pesticide) | A simazine pesticide used as a herbicide. |
| 2-MIB (mould odour) | An unpleasant odour generated by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) in water sources. 2-MIB stands for 2-methylisoborneol. |
| Soluble lead | Lead that has dissolved and ionized from lead pipes used in water supply systems. |
| 1,2-DCE | A volatile organochlorine compound used as a raw material for resins and solvents. |
| Benzene | A volatile organic compound used in synthetic rubber, organic pigments, etc. It is also generated by the combustion of gasoline. |
| Geosmin (mould odour) | An unpleasant (earthy) odour generated by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) in water sources. |
| Phenols | Substances that react with chlorine in tap water to produce an unpleasant odour (phenol odour). |
| Carbon tetrachloride | A volatile organochlorine compound used as a raw material for chlorofluorocarbon gas, as a solvent for metal cleaning and other applications. |
| Iron (particulate form) | A particulate iron compound that can dissolve out of water pipes or be contained in raw water. |
| Aluminium (neutral) | An aluminium compound used in the water purification process. |
