Panasonic Group CSR Suppliers Conference & Training

From 13 to 15 January 2025, Panasonic Group CSR Suppliers Conference & Training hosted by Panasonic Operational Excellence Co., Ltd (PEX), Global Procurement Division (GPRD), was held in Johor, Klang Valley and Penang. These conferences were attended by 373 companies in Malaysia who are having business transactions with Panasonic Group.

During the Conference & Training, Panasonic ESG Management initiatives and a focus on CSR was shared and explained. In particular, it was emphasized that Panasonic Group has the Panasonic Group Human Rights and Labour Policy, and that it requires suppliers who are having business transactions with Panasonic Group to maintain a high level of compliance based on the policy.

A survey was carried out after the conference, with more than 90% of respondents indicated that they would implement what they learned at the Conference & Training as their own initiatives.

The Panasonic Group plans to continue collaborating with suppliers to promote CSR initiatives within the group’s supply chain.
