Med sitt breda dynamiska omfång registrerar 32-bitars float-formatet mer information, från tysta till höga ljud. Det eliminerar behovet av tröttsamma ljudnivåjusteringar under ljudinspelningar.

Phase Hybrid AF

Det viktigaste med autofokus-funktionen är att den är pålitlig. Utöver kontrast-AF erbjuder LUMIX GH7 Phase Detection AF-systemet som dramatiskt förbättrar spårning av motiv och mätteknik. Kameran fångar motivet även i utmanande situationer med flera motiv och levererar med precision även i motljus eller miljöer med svag belysning.

ARRI LogC3-inspelning

Genom att använda en nyckel för mjukvaruuppgradering för DMW-SFU3A (säljs separat) kan användare använda ARRI LogC3* som gör det möjligt att färgmatcha med ARRIs digitala biokameror. Bildbehandlingen av ARRI LogC3-kurvan på LUMIX GH7 har certifierats av ARRI för implementering av den här funktionen. Alternativen för logginspelning, som ger rik färginformation och ett brett dynamiskt omfång, har utökats till att omfatta ARRI LogC3 utöver den konventionella V-Log. Det gör LUMIX ännu mer kompatibel med olika arbetsflöden.

Dynamic Range Boost-funktionen sparar två bildtyper med en enda exponering och kombinerar dem i realtid för att återskapa en kompositbild med rikare nyanser även i situationer med stora ljuskontraster.     - The cards that can be used for recording vary depending on the motion pictures bit rate and format type.
    Motion pictures with 72Mbps or less: CFexpress card, SD memory card with SD Speed Class with Class 10 or Video Speed Class 10 or higher
    Motion pictures with 200Mbps or less: CFexpress card, SD memory card with UHS-I / UHS-II UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) or Video Speed Class 30 or higher
    Motion pictures with 400Mbps or less: CFexpress card, SD memory card with Video Speed Class 60 or higher
    Motion pictures with 600Mbps or less: CFexpress card, SD memory card with Video Speed Class 90
    Motion pictures with 800Mbps or more, variable frame rate with ALL-Intra, or ProRes: CFexpress card

    - A new file will be created to continue recording if the continuous recording time exceeds the following conditions.
