Beef Stroganoff

As the evenings start to get colder, it’s time to break out the fall stews and settle in with warm, comforting fare. This microwave beef stroganoff is easy to make in one casserole dish and so quick you’ll be sitting down to dinner in a flash!

Ingredients

Servings:4
  • 1onion (sliced)
  • 1garlic clove (minced)
  • 750 grump steak (sliced thinly)
  • 2 tablespoontomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoonworcestershire sauce
  • 1 cubebeef stock
  • 1 teaspoonpaprika
  • 1/3 cupsour cream
  • 200 g slicedmushrooms
  • fresh parsley (to garnish)

Steps

STEP 1

Place all ingredients (except sour cream and mushrooms) in a 3-litre casserole dish.

STEP 2

Stir until combined.

STEP 3

Cover and cook on P7 for 7 to 9 minutes, stirring once during cooking.

STEP 4

Add mushrooms. Stir and cook on P7 for 4 to 5 minutes.

STEP 5

Stir through sour cream.

STEP 6

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

STEP 7

Serve with the pasta of your choice, or crusty bread.
