Use this cream to fill fruity tarts, or enjoy with croissants, sponge cake, or other homemade desserts!

Ingredients

Servings:1
  • ml500soy milk
  • 40 gcornstarch
  • 50 gbrown sugar
  • tip of a tsp tumeric
  • vanilla (to taste)

Steps

STEP 1

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the corn starch and half the soy milk. Mix with a whisk to dissolve the starch.

STEP 2

Add the turmeric, brown sugar, remaining soy milk, and vanilla. Continue to whisk.

STEP 3

Place the bowl in the microwave at 1000W for 1 minute and 30 seconds.

STEP 4

Whisk the mixture again and put it back in the microwave at 1000W for 1 minute. Repeat 3 times, stirring at the end of each round. In 5 minutes, you’ll have a fragrant, velvety cream.
