Atria Makan Fun Run 2.0 is Back with More Excitement!

Runners stand a chance to win Panasonic products worth a total of RM20,000

Damansara Jaya, 23 October 2018 – Over 1,000 amateur runners, fitness enthusiasts and even entire families took part in Atria Makan Fun Run 2.0 stretching 5km around Damansara Jaya on Sunday, 21 October 2018. This most delicious run was flagged off by YB Jamaliah Jamaluddin, ADUN Bandar Utama, together with Ms Quratulain Atiqah bt Norzahirul Anuar, Councillor of Petaling Jaya City Council; Ms Caroline Wong, CEO, Property Investment, OSK Property Holdings Berhad; Mr Lee Beng Beng, Director, Retail Management of Atria Shopping Gallery; and Mr Chew Keng Heng, General Manager, Marketing Innovation Department of Panasonic Malaysia.

“This is the 2nd time we organise Makan Fun Run. The combination of “Sport” and “Gourmet” concepts for this running event have attracted both runners and foodies to join us. Besides the participation from our F&B retailers, we are also pleased to have Panasonic Malaysia on board as our main partner this year, sponsoring Panasonic products worth a total of RM20,000 as the lucky draw prizes.” says Mrs. Koay Poay Shin, Senior Marketing Manager of Atria Shopping Gallery.

Runners were presented with a limited-edition running shirt, finisher medal, race bib and other goodies from various sponsors & tenants. In line with its “Makan Fun” theme, runners were able to indulge themselves at the Makan Carnival upon completion of the run including fruits at the last pit stop, Vico drinks from the mobile truck, sampling of fruit juice, steam buns and oat cookies from Panasonic Malaysia promotion booth as well as fried bee hoon from Kopitime, Kampung Kravers, Café de Metta, Leans and PappaRich. On top of that, runners took home a goodie bag filled with Korean noodle, Mister potato chips sponsored by Mamee and Prawn Snack sponsored by Miaow Miaow. Last but not least. runners also get to redeem a shopper bag at the SportsDirect.com outlet.

The fun continued even after the run where runners joined Body Combat session conducted by Chi Fitness at Ground Floor, Centre Court including with the announcement of Lucky draw winners. Below is the list of lucky draw prizes sponsored by Panasonic Malaysia: -
