Offering Service from Oversea Operation Base cooperated by JTB & Panasonic

Shah Alam, 2 October 2018 - JTB Corp (Head Office: Tokyo Shinagawa-ku, President and CEO, Takahashi Hiroyuki / JTB) and Panasonic Corporation (Head Office: Osaka Kadoma-shi, CEO, Tsuga Kazuhiro / Panasonic) have corporate and aiming the new business creation in the tourism field.

JTB Pte. Ltd (Head Office: Singapore, President & CEO Kurosawa Shinya / JTB Asia Pacific) has come up to accelerate the creation of next-generation store business by using the “Interactive Facing Kiosk Terminal” which created by Panasonic. This kiosk will connect Malaysia and Japan by providing the remote customer service demonstration from Japan.

Demonstration will be conducted at one of Subsidiary company of the JTB Asia Pacific branch, Japan Travel Bureau (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Head Office: Kuala Lumpur, Managing Director / General Manager Mr Otani Masakatsu, JTB Malaysia).  Demonstration will be targeting the customer who is planning to visit Japan.  Remote customer service will be provided by JTB Global Assistance (Head Office:  Tokyo Chiyoda, CEO Mr Shirai Keiji (Below: JGA)) which allows customer to get the real time information from Japan which will be supported by multi-lingual customer service staff.

By using the “Interactive Facing Kiosk Terminal” develop by Panasonic able not only visual and sound system, but also to provide Malaysian customers with high-quality interactive communication and service by Japan multi-lingual call center staff.
