INDUSTRY-LEADING EFFICIENCY

Panasonic’s Hot Water Heat Pump has a coefficient of performance (COP) of 5.19, which means for every unit of electrical energy it uses, it produces over 5 times more heat energy.
INDUSTRY-LEADING EFFICIENCY

AMAZING FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

The Panasonic Hot Water Heat Pump has a GWP rating of 1 because it uses CO₂ refrigerant. This makes it one of the highest efficiency refrigerants for water heating. To compare, R32, a standard refrigerant used in most heat pumps and considered environmentally friendly, has a GWP rating of 675.

SIX MODES TO WORK HOW YOU WANT

Featuring six modes of operation, you can make your Hot Water Heat Pump work the way that’s most efficient for you. The controller measures the temperature at the bottom of the tank and when it drops below 37°C, it heats it until it reaches 59°C. You choose the hours of operation:
• Continuous: operating 24 hours a day
• 9 Hours Off Peak: operating only between the hours of 10pm-7am
• 6 Hours Off Peak: operating only between the hours of 12am-6am
• 6 Hours Day Time: operating only between the hours of 10am-4pm
• Timer: your choice of when it operates, with the option to have two zones
• One Shot Boost: activates the heat pump if less than 59°C, it heats until the temperature reaches 59°C

SIX MODES TO WORK HOW YOU WANT

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Cold water enters at the bottom of the tank
2. Outdoor unit pulls cold water from the tank
3. The compressor pulls energy from the ambient air, converts it into heat energy and transfers it into the CO₂ refrigerant, heating up the water
4. Heated water is pumped into the top of the tank
5. The controller measures the temperature from the bottom of the tank and this process continues until the temperature reaches 59°C
6. Water is taken from the top, where it’s at its hottest and delivered into your home
