Berkshire Community Foundation
Panasonic has been the Corporate Patron for The Berkshire Community Foundation (BCF) since 1992.
The BCF has been at the forefront of local charitable giving for the last 30 years. They raise funds for, and make grants to, local charities and community groups addressing identified need across Berkshire.
The BCF use their local knowledge to connect supporters, like Panasonic, to the groups and communities they want to help. Making sure their donations are effective and bring the greatest benefit to those most in need.
Last year BCF gave over £900,000 to a wide range of local projects, addressing issues such as child poverty, unemployment, social isolation and homelessness.
The BCF work with supporters, large and small, to make sure their donation has the greatest impact and are committed to making giving as easy and quick as possible. The Monitoring and evaluation of grants awarded means that supporters can be assured their charitable giving is getting to where it is really needed, and that it is making a big difference. BCF’s approach means we can support a variety of local projects, including smaller groups who are doing vital work but who have real difficulties in raising funds.
