#Superfans - Can you hear us in Rio?
The Rio 2016 Games are underway and your athletes need YOU! There's a Superfan in each one of us, so let's show the world how great, Great Britain's fans can be

Join Superfans’ ambassador, Amy Williams as she tries some face painting, dress up, baking, art and whole lot of other ways to show her support for the athletes at Rio summer. Let's recreate the "home advantage" that Team GB enjoyed at London 2012 and make sure that they can hear us in Rio!
Amy Williams
Superfans Ambassador
Amy is a retired Team GB Skeleton athlete who stole the nation’s heart winning Gold at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Amy started Skeleton in 2002 when she visited the bobsleigh and skeleton facility at Bath University and was subsequently invited to join British Skeleton’s development programme. It was a decision that paid off and in her first major event, Amy claimed Silver at the 2009 Lake Placid World Championships. Amy’s Gold medal in 2010 was Team GB’s only medal at the Vancouver Games and its first Gold in an individual event for 30 years.
Injury forced Amy to retire in 2012, but since then she has been busy working in a variety of roles primarily within television. You may have seen her presenting The Gadget Show or as co-presenter on Ski Sunday; she’s also make a number of guest appearances on shows such as Top Gear, A League of their Own and A Question of Sport.
