What is nanoe™ ?
nanoe is atomized, nano-scale electrostatic water particles born of Panasonic’s proprietary technology. High-voltage electricity is applied to water molecules in the air, resulting in ions wrapped in water. Inside these ions are a large number of highly reactive OH radicals, which work to inhibit harmful substances in the air. In addition, Panasonic has accomplished the difficult task of making OH radicals long-lasting by encapsulating them in water. For this reason, nanoe has a long lifespan and offer beneficial effects far from their source. In addition, since nanoe is weakly acidic like human skin. nanoe improves the air quality not only of homes but also hospitals, hotels, automobiles, and public transportation. And nanoe makes life more comfortable overall.
1.nanoe is nano-scale ions that contain 1,000 times by volume*¹ the water found in common negative ions in the air.
2.The lifespan of a nanoe is approximately 600 seconds—6 times that of a general negative ion in the air (Panasonic research). Since nanoe particles are wrapped in water, they last longer and reach farther.
3.When nanoe interacts with bacteria, the OH radicals grab hydrogen atoms from the bacteria. This reaction causes the hydrogen atoms to become parts of water molecules and Inhibits the bacteria.

Inhibiting bacteria and viruses
Nanometer-scale, long-lasting*² nanoe spread out through the air, penetrating deep into clothing fibers and other spaces, where they work to inhibit bacteria,*³ viruses,*⁴ and allergans*⁵(pollen, tick excreta and remains, etc.).
In a room, nanometer-scale, long-lasting nanoe penetrate deep into carpets, curtains, furniture cushions, and other areas. There they work to deodoraize odors*⁶ from tobacco, cooking, pets, and more.

One of Panasonic’s original air quality enhancement technologies, nanoe-G helps eliminate fine particulate matter (PM2.5), bacteria, and more. In Panasonic air conditioners, nanoe-G is a key element of a proprietary air purification system.
