This Privacy Statement explains how Panasonic Vietnam Co.,Ltd, its parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates (“Panasonic”, “we”, “us”, “our”) will collect, use and disclose Personal Data that we obtain through the URL: https://www.panasonic.com/vn (“Web Site”) or other means.

 

Personal Data” refers to all and any information relating to you which identify or enable to identify you (including basic personal data and sensitive personal data such as your name, contact numbers, email address, mailing address, residential address, password, Internet Protocol address and GPS location) obtained by us via your access to or use of the Web Site.

  

In order to serve you better, we may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. A notification of those updates shall be posted on this website with clear statement of changed points and effective date. For any updates/modifications that might have less restriction to our processing of your Personal Data, we will send a notice to your registered communication method.

1.1  We may collect the following information when you access the Web Site:

Your Personal Data might be also disclosed to digital ad platforms (Facebook, Google and other media) if you use features provided by those digital ad platforms integrated in our Web site.

6.2 Your Personal Data shall be disclosed to third parties without your consent under the following circumstances:

 

(a)  required to do so in compliance with any Vietnam Government law, regulation, subpoena or court order;
(b)  upon the request of a government, regulatory or law enforcement agency;
(c)  for the investigation and help to prevent security threats, fraud or other malicious activity;
(d)  to enforce/protect the rights and properties of Panasonic or its affiliates; or
(e)  to protect the rights or personal safety of Panasonic employees and third parties.

 

6.3  We will retain your Personal Data within time period for the Purposes as described in paragraph 1.3 or other time period requested by law.

7.1  If you are under the age of  16 years, please do not submit any Personal Data without the consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian.

 

7.2 If you provide Personal Data of your child under the age of 7 – 16 years, please kindly seek for your child consent and provide us a record of such consent upon our request. Record of consent might be under the forms of written or voice record and you’re liable for the accuracy of those.
