Director, Industrial Division
Ed Rego brings a unique skillset to his role as Director of the Industrial Division at Panasonic Canada Inc. with years of experience as an automation engineer along with a background in sales in the consumer electronics and technology industries.
With an appetite for a new professional challenge and appreciation for the Panasonic brand, Ed joined the organization in 2007. Since then, Ed combines his technical knowledge and ability to solve problems in an organized way, to give him a better understanding of the technical challenges his customers face so he can help provide them with logical solutions. Ed’s goal is to provide a communications bridge between Panasonic’s distributors and their customers to ensure consistency throughout the process.
Prior to working at Panasonic, Ed was a Branch Manager for a North American battery technology company, and an Account and Branch Manager for an electronic component distributor.
Ed is actively involved within Panasonic and has been the recipient of many corporate awards including the Employee of the Year Award, PCI President's Club, Panasonic Corporation President's Award for Sales Achievement, along with several Panasonic sales achievement awards. Ed has also been the recipient of awards from past employers, namely The Pen and Podium Award, for an article published in a trade magazine.
In addition to his professional achievements, Ed is a respected member within his community volunteering his time coaching hockey and baseball teams. He always values any quality time he can spend with his wife and children.
