Local Environmental Contribution Activities
("Panasonic Eco Relay for Sustainable Earth")
Panasonic Group has implemented various region-based environmental activities designed by its employees themselves, involving local residents, children, and employees' family.
It is named "Panasonic Eco Relay for Sustainable Earth", with the thoughts of "linking beyond generations". We are aiming at contributing to building sustainable earth and society.
Our Company is also participating in this activity as a member of Panasonic Group. Each and every employee around the world is implementing environmental activities as a global citizen, and is trying to contribute to regional environment.
Here are examples of such activities.
Moriguchi Factory (Osaka,Japan)
As part of our efforts to contribute to the local community, we carry out community cleanup activities around the site once a month with the cooperation of employees working at the Moriguchi factory.

Nishikinohama Factory (Osaka,Japan)
As part of the Nishikinohama District Barbecue Competition, we conducted the first beach clean-up around our new work site. We will continue to carry out community cleaning activities.

Tokushima Factory (Tokushima, Japan)
We conduct cleaning activities around the plant twice a year. In June, we conducted cleanup activities at the Matsushige Industrial Park and Tsukimigaoka Beach.
Sumoto Factory (Hyogo, Japan)
We conduct cleaning activities around the plant twice a year.
Panasonic Energy Nandan Co., Ltd. (Hyogo, Japan)
We conduct cleaning activities around our company plant (three sites) once a month.
Panasonic Energy Higashiura Co., Ltd. (Hyogo, Japan)
Once a year, we work with local business associations, city staff, and school staff to clean up the beach at Urakenmin Sun Beach.
Wakayama Factory (Wakayama, Japan)
As part of the plant renovation, cleaning activities around the south gate are conducted once a month.

This is the 14 years anniversary of the joint community cleanup with neighboring companies since 2010.

In June 2023, we participated in tree-planting activities with Samrong Nues District Municipality.
17 employees attended the event to promote World Environment Day and to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's birthday.

In conjunction with World Environment Day from June 5 to 9, 2023, we held an in-house environmental awareness campaign as Environment Week.
During Environment Week, we displayed environmental posters, planted 13 saplings of bottle-palm trees on site, and conducted training programs on the environment.
