Phnom Penh, Cambodia – On January 15, 2025, Panasonic Cambodia awarded scholarships to nine outstanding students of Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), Royal University of Fine Arts (RUFA), the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI), and Beltie International University of Cambodia.
Established as part of the broader Panasonic Scholarship Asia initiative, this program provides financial aid, developmental support, and internship opportunities to outstanding students from local universities and vocational training schools in Cambodia.

Panasonic Scholarship Recipients with Panasonic Management and Distinguished Guests
Since its inception in 2019, the Panasonic Scholarship has supported numerous Cambodian students in pursuing their academic and professional goals. The program emphasizes both academic excellence and practical experience, offering internships with Panasonic to equip students with valuable skills and knowledge. This holistic approach ensures scholars are well-prepared to become future leaders in their respective fields. Additionally, graduates join a vibrant alumni network that provides networking opportunities with international scholars and access to career development resources such as workshops and seminars.

Mr. Naoyuki Tada, the Chief in-Charge of Overseas, Corporate Citizenship Department at Panasonic Corporation, Japan mentioned in his address that the Panasonic Scholarship Asia program is one of the key initiatives of Panasonic globally, falling under the ‘Human Development’ pillar. Since its inception in 1998, the program has been conducted in 12 different countries globally and has awarded scholarships to more than 1,400 students so far.
