Panasonic Comfort Cloud App Redesigned for Intuitive, Accessible Smart Living

Panasonic Heating & Ventilation A/C Company is excited to announce a major update to the Panasonic Comfort Cloud App. This app allows users to remotely control Panasonic HVAC devices—including air conditioners, air-to-water heat pumps, and ventilation fans—from their smartphones or tablets. The latest version features a streamlined interface that consolidates essential operation buttons, prioritizing ease of use for all users. The updated app will be available starting July 28, 2025.

Since its launch in 2018, the Comfort Cloud App has steadily grown in popularity, surpassing two million downloads across more than 80 countries worldwide.
The app supports a wide range of Panasonic HVAC models, enabling centralized control of multiple devices for both residential and commercial use. Unique features such as Statistics and Schedule have added significant value to Panasonic HVAC systems and contributed to their global adoption.

Despite its broad compatibility and centralized control capabilities, the previous version of the Comfort Cloud App presented challenges for users managing multiple HVAC units. They had to monitor and operate each device individually, which made everyday use time-consuming and inefficient.
In addition, because the app supported a wide array of functions and models, its UI had become increasingly complex, with some key functions buried in deep layers—making navigation difficult.

The redesigned Panasonic Comfort Cloud App significantly improves usability by enabling one-stop control of multiple devices. Users can easily check the status of all connected HVAC units and rooms at a glance—including temperature, setpoint, and operating mode—thanks to a clear, consolidated view. With just a single tap, groups of devices can be turned on or off, making everyday operation both simple and efficient.
To further enhance the user experience, the updated app introduces a bottom navigation bar that simplifies access to core menus and enables smooth transitions between functions. Frequently used controls—such as temperature settings and power buttons—are now placed at the top level and within thumb’s reach, allowing for quicker, more intuitive operation.
These improvements are thoughtfully integrated with Panasonic’s refined design philosophy, which emphasizes clarity and comfort through unified icons and a harmonious color scheme—delivering both visual appeal and operational clarity.
