Chef Manal Alalem's Chocolate Cake
Fast chocolate cake in 5 minutes, crispy and successful from the first time in a Panasonic microwave.


Ingredients
Cake:
- 1cup of flour
- 2tablespoons of plain cocoa powder
- 1pinch of salt
- 1tablespoon of baking powder
- 0.5cup sugar
- 0.25cup oil
- 2large eggs
- 1teaspoon liquid vanilla
- 1cup warm water
The sauce:
- 0.5cup liquid cream
- 2tablespoons of plain cocoa powder
- 1tablespoon butter or oil
- 0.5teaspoon liquid vanilla
- 2tablespoons of sugar
Steps
STEP 1
Use an oven dish, approximately 8-inch wide

STEP 2
Wipe the plate with oil. Leave it aside.

STEP 3
Cake: In a bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder

STEP 4
Add sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla

STEP 5
Using a whisk mix all the ingridients together while adding the warm water Continue mixing until you get a smooth cake mixture

STEP 6
Pour the mixture into the dish

STEP 7
Place the dish inside the oven and select microwave 1000W high power and let it cook for 5 minutes

STEP 8
Take the dish out of the microwave and leave it aside.

STEP 9
The sauce: In a deep glass bowl mix the cream, cocoa, butter and vanilla.

STEP 10
Put the sauce in the microwave on high power for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 20 seconds (be careful and use a deep bowl so that the sauce does not run out while in the microwave.)

STEP 11
Pour the sauce over the cake, then serve.
