Colourful 5-Grain Rice Bowl

Five-grain rice is full of minerals, vitamins, dietary fiber, and other nutrients that are important for a healthy, balanced diet. The rich flavours in every grain are simply satisfying.


Ingredients
- 3 cups5-Grain Rice, washed
- 1.5 cupsWater
Dressing
- Ponzu Dressing, store bought
Condiments
- 3 nosAvocado, sliced
- 3 nosRed Radish
- 120 gPurple Cabbage, shredded
- 150 gTurmeric Cauliflower
- 150 gGreen Zucchini, match stick
- 150 gCranberries
- 2 pcsChicken Breast
Method
STEP 1
Place rice in rice cooker. Select -> Grain -> START.
STEP 2
When rice is cooked, allow to rest for 10mins before fluffing the rice.
STEP 3
Mould the rice with a rice bowl, place in the middle of the serving plate.
STEP 4
Assemble condiments. Serve with dressing.
To prepare Turmeric Cauliflower
Method
STEP 1
Bring a pot of water to boil, add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of turmeric powder. Add cauliflower and boil for 2mins. Remove and pat dry.
STEP 2
Heat olive oil in pan on medium heat, sauté cauliflower until lightly brown, season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
To prepare Chicken Breast
Method
STEP 1
Remove chicken breast from fridge pat dry and let it sit in ambient for 30min.
STEP 2
Heat olive oil in pan on medium heat, season chicken breast with salt and pepper, sear on pan for 3-4 mins each side until lightly brown. Set aside, slice and serve.
