  • 1Spring Chicken
  • 30 gDried Chinese Yam
  • 15 gDried Longan
  • 13 gWolfberry (kei qi)
  • 25 gSolomon Sea (yuk chuk)
  • 3 gChinese Angelica (dong guai)
  • 3 gDried Lily Buds
  • 10 gHedge Prinsepia Nut
  • 15 gAchyranthes Root
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/3 tsp Sugar
  • 2 cups Water

Method

STEP 1

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Leave aside to marinate.

STEP 2

Place 2 cups of water and add all the herbs in an ovenproof pot. Cook on stew function for 30 minutes. Add in salt, pepper and sugar to taste.

STEP 3

Put chicken into the pot and continue to stew for an hour.
