Veggie & Fruity Puree Cereal

Pumpkin is a great source of beta-carotenoid, a carotenoid that your body turns to vitamin A which is known for eye health benefits. Paired with sweet potato and apple that are loaded with vitamins that can boost your immunity and high in fiber to keep your bowels healthy and regular.


Ingredients
For Apple Puree:
- 2 nosRed apple
- ½ tsp Salt
- 300 mlWater
For Pumpkin & Sweet Potato
- 200 gSweet potato
- 200 gPumpkin
Preparation: Rapid Freezing to keep flavors and nutrients
1. In a bowl, mix salt and water, stir well then soak apples for 2 minutes.
2. Cut apples, pumpkin and sweet potato into small cubes.
3. Steam the cut ingredients for 15 minutes or till soft.
4. Mash steamed ingredients separately till smooth with a masher.
5. Transfer the puree to ice cube tray and place into Prime Freeze compartment, press Rapid Freezing function (60 mins).
6. Once harden remove and transfer to a bottle or Tupperware and store in normal freezer compartment.
Method
STEP 1
When cooking cereal or porridge, take 1 to 2 cubes of vegetable puree and cook together with it.
Chef tips:
• Rapid Freezing seals in freshness & nutrients.
• Puree cubes can be eaten with rice porridge, soup or by it owns as healthy snacks.
• Replace ingredients with melted butter and herbs & spices to make flavoured butter i.e. garlic butter, thyme butter etc.
