The LUMIX S1RII stabilizes framing for both photos and videos during handheld shooting. When shooting videos, it reduces the significant shaking and perspective distortion that can occur when shooting while walking. It also incorporates a new cropless mode that comes in useful when using a wide-angle lens.***

A newly developed tilt and free-angle rear monitor lets you compose shots on the optical axis.
