Matcha Bread with Orange
Created through a collaboration with Kinobu, a long-established traditional Japanese restaurant in Kyoto, Matcha Bread is a flavour sensation that combines the distinctive refined aroma of matcha green tea with the sweet orange peel.
Ingredients
- 3/4 tsp Dry Yeast (2.1g)
- 400 gStrong Wheat Flour
- 40 gSugar
- 1 tspSalt (5g)
- 15 gButter
- 15 gMatcha Powder
- 280 mlWater
- 100 gCandied Orange Peel (Orangeat)
Steps
STEP 1
Take the bread pan with the kneading blade out of the Croustina breadmaker and add in all the ingredients except for the candied orange peel in the top-to-bottom order.
STEP 2
Place the bread pan back into the breadmaker, close the lid, select menu 10, light and press start.
STEP 3
After around 50 minutes the breadmaker will start to beep. Now you can add the candied orange peel to the dough. Press the start button to restart.
STEP 4
When your bread is done, take it out and let it cool down.
