Add and Manage Users (Device Sharing)

Enable multiple users to control and operate the same units.

1.0 Adding Additional Users

1.1 Sharing a registration link via messaging apps

Step 1
Tap "Menu" on the home screen and then tap "Device Sharing".

Step 2
1.Select the group and devices to share.
2.Name the user and select the access level.
3.Tap "Share this device".
4.Choose a messaging app to send the invitation link to the second user.

Note: Each link is valid for one user and expires after 24 hours.

Step 3 (For second user)
If you do not have the app:
1.Download the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app.
2.Open the app and create a Panasonic account.
3.Click the registration link in the invitation message.

If the app and account are already set up:
1.Click the registration link in the invitation message.
2.The app will open and display the shared device automatically.

1.2 Adding a user in-person via QR code

Step 1
On the device screen, tap the arrow icon at the bottom.

Step 2
Tap “Owner settings”, then choose "Device sharing with QR code".

Step 3
Name the user, select the access level, and tap "Share this device".

Step 4
Display the QR code on the screen for the second user to scan.

Step 5 (For second user)
Tap the "+" icon on the home screen.

Step 6 (For second user)
Select "Device sharing“.

Step 7 (For second user)
Tap “OK“.

Step 8 (For second user)
Scan the QR code displayed on the owner's screen.
Registration is now complete, and the shared device will appear on the list.

2.0 Managing Additional Users

Step 1
On the device screen, tap the arrow icon at the bottom.

Step 2
Tap “Owner settings”, then choose "User list".

Step 3
View and manage the users who have access to the selected devices.
