Cartoon Choux Pastry
Choux pastry is a simple dough mixed quickly on the stove, piped in round puffs. They are then baked and filled with delicious whipped cream.
For the cream puff:
Preheat the Panasonic Microwave Oven 200°C.
Pour water, add in butter and salt into a pot and bring it to boil.
Add in plain flour and keep stirring till it become dough form, cook the dough till it starts to stick to the pan.
Transfer into a large bowl then mix in the egg one by one at a time till smooth.
Fill into a piping bag. Set aside.
For the cooking dough:
Mix in butter, sugar and flour into a bowl till it forms into a dough.
Refrigerate till firm.
Roll out the dough to a thin layer and cut circle just big enough to cover the cream puff.
To bake:
Pipe the cream puff onto baking tray lined with parchment paper into desired shape.
Place the cookie dough on top of each of the cream puff.
Bake in Panasonic Microwave Oven 200°C for 20 minutes.
To assemble:
In a bowl, cream the cream cheese then add in icing sugar and continue mixing.
Next, add in orange concentrate and cream and continue mixing until soft and creamy.
Then, fill it into a piping bag.
Cut out the top part of the choux pastry and fill it up with cream cheese filling.
Then cover the top with the cut-out part of the choux pastry.
Decorate with melted chocolate, marshmallow and almond slices.
