Philippines Sweet & Sour Pork Meatball
Juicy meatballs in a sweet and tangy sauce is a delicious topping over steamed rice.

Ingredients
- 450 gground pork
- 6 tbspcooking oil (for frying)
- 2 tbspcooking oil (for cooking)
- 1 tbspminced garlic
- 1 noonion (quartered)
- ½ cup carrot (sliced)
- 1 cupbell pepper
- 1 cuppineapple chunk
- 3 tbsptomato ketchup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup vinegar
- 1 cupwater
- 1 tbspcorn starch + 3 tbsp water
Steps
STEP 1
Take out ground pork from Panasonic Prime Fresh.
STEP 2
Shape ground pork into meatballs. Set aside.
STEP 3
Heat a frying pan with oil.
STEP 4
Add in meatballs to the pan and fry both sides until cooked.
STEP 5
Once done remove meatballs from pan and set aside.
STEP 6
In another pan, heat up with oil and sauté the garlic till fragrant.
STEP 7
Then, add onion, carrot & bell pepper, cook well.
STEP 8
Next, add pineapple chunk and cook for 1 minute.
STEP 9
Add in tomato ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar & water, stir well and let it simmer.
STEP 10
Next, add corn starch mixture to thicken the sauce.
STEP 11
Lastly, add meatballs back to the pan and stir well.
