Panasonic Announces New Firmware Update Programs for the LUMIX G Series Cameras: G9, GH5S and BGH1

7th October 2021 - Panasonic has announced that it will release new firmware update programs for its LUMIX G Series mirrorless cameras to enhance the functions and usability. The firmware program version 2.5 for DC-G9, version 2.2 for DC-GH5S and version 2.3 for DC-BGH1 will be available to download from the LUMIX Global Customer Support website on 4th November 2021.

Panasonic is committed to addressing further to enhance the G Series line-up and performance of conventional Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and lenses through firmware updates as a prominent value-added service.

The cameras and the programs to be updated are as follows:

GH5S Firmware Version 2.2

RAW video data can be output over HDMI to save Blackmagic RAW on the Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR.
