University of the West of England selects Panasonic LUMIX S1H as camera of choice for its esteemed filmmaking courses

University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and Panasonic LUMIX have announced a new collaboration to equip filmmaking students with the latest in full frame imaging technology.

Following a tendering process, the LUMIX S1H was selected as the camera technology of choice by UWE Bristol for its Filmmaking and Wildlife Filmmaking course students.

UWE Bristol’s undergraduate filmmaking course is ranked 4th in the UK and it runs a programme of highly-successful post graduate courses, including MA Wildlife Filmmaking, in partnership with BBC Natural History Unit. A new Post Graduate Course in Screen Business will start in 2021.

The award-winning full frame LUMIX S1H cameras will provide UWE Bristol filmmaking students with a flexible and compact mirrorless setup that delivers cinema quality results for all course requirements.
