Ingredients
For the Meatballs:
- 250 glean ground beef
- 1 clovegarlic, minced
- 2 tbspchopped parsley
- 1small onion, finely chopped
- 0.5 tspdried oregano
- 0.5 tspred pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbspolive oil
For the Pasta:
- 150 gwhole wheat pasta
- 2 cupswater
- Salt to taste
For the Sauce:
- 1small onion, finely chopped
- 2 clovegarlic, minced
- 1 tbspolive oil
- 1 cancrushed tomatoes (400g)
- Fresh basil, finely chopped
- 0.5 tspsalt
- 0.5 tspblack pepper
Steps
STEP 1
Prepare the Meatballs:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, parsley, onion, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs.

STEP 2
Cook the Meatballs:
- Place the meatballs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Set the Panasonic microwave to Combination Setting Combi 3 (Convection 220°C + Microwave 440W).
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked.

STEP 3
Cook the Pasta:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the pasta, water, and salt.
- Microwave on high (1000 watts) for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Drain excess water.

STEP 4
Prepare the Sauce:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped onion, garlic, and olive oil. Microwave on 800 watts for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, and basil. Cover and microwave for 5 minutes until bubbling.

STEP 5
Combine Everything:
- Place the cooked pasta in a serving dish, pour the sauce over it, and microwave for 2-3 minutes to blend flavors.
- Add the cooked meatballs, top with shredded mozzarella, and microwave for 1 more minute to melt the cheese.

STEP 6
Serve:
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil. Serve immediately.
