2 large onions, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
0.25 cup water
1 tablespoon sumac
For the Wraps:
6 whole wheat thin saj bread
1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Steps
STEP 1
Prepare the Chicken Mixture:
- In a microwave-safe dish, combine chicken breasts, sliced onions, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Mix well.
- Add 1/4 cup water to keep the chicken moist.
STEP 2
Cook the Chicken:
- Place the dish in the microwave.

- Cook for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes and adding a little more water if necessary.

Shred and Season:
- Once the chicken is fully cooked and the onions are soft, remove from the microwave.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then shred the chicken using two forks.
- Mix in the sumac until evenly coated.

Assemble the Rolls:
- Lay out the saj bread and evenly spread the chicken mixture on each.
- Roll them up tightly into cylinders.

Grill the Rolls:
- Place the rolls on a tray and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Select Combination 1 (Grill 1 + MW 440W).
- Grill for 6 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy and golden brown.
