About air quality values
in the above visual presentation

■ Air quality measurement was conducted and supervised by the person in charge of a study on air quality at the R&D Center of Panasonic Homes Co., Ltd.
■ Measuring instruments
The instrument used for measuring PM2.5 was an LD-5 PM2.5 Digital Dust Indicator cyclone particle size selector (manufactured by Sibata Scientific Technology Ltd.). The instrument used for measuring CO2 was a TR-76Ui CO2 Logger (manufactured by T&D Corporation).

*1. Scene ‘Accessory shop’ Data condition
PM2.5 was continuously measured for one hour at the same location as the filming site. An instantaneous value when the air quality was stabilized was adopted.
CO2 was measured at the same location as filming site.
The average value of five measurements amongst the crowd was adopted.

*2. Scene ‘Bedroom in the morning’
PM2.5 was continuously measured for one hour at the same location as the filming site. An instantaneous value when the air quality was stabilized was adopted.
CO2 was measured at the same location as the filming site.
CO2 was continuously measured from the time for bed on the previous night to wake-up time early the next morning.
The average concentration value of up to one hour prior to waking up was adopted.

*3. Scene ‘Around KL’
PM2.5:
The PM2.5 level is a PM2.5 concentration estimate converted from the API index (the highest value recorded at Putrajaya, W.p. Putrajaya on Sep. 16, 2019) announced by the  Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (Malaysia).
CO2 was announced by the World Meteorological Organization
Cited from the world average CO2 concentration in 2018

*4. Scene  ‘A house in Kajang’
PM2.5:
The R&D Center of Panasonic Homes conducted a 7-day demonstration experiment in a house located in Shah Alam, Selangor, in 2018. It was estimated from the experiment results that the average indoor PM2.5 concentration with the windows closed was approx. 55% of the average outdoor PM2.5 concentration.
A value similar to scene 3 ‘Kajang’ was employed as the outdoor concentration value for the estimation.
CO2 was continuously measured for one hour at the same location as the filming site. An instantaneous value when the air quality was stabilized was adopted.
