Ingredients

  • 3 cups basmathi rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 inch cinnamon stick
  • 3 cardamom
  • 30 g ghee
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chicken concentrate

Blended ingredients

  • 100 g onions
  • 30 g garlic
  • 20 g ginger
  • 50 g oil

Natural colour garnishing

  • 80 g red capsicum (cut into small cubes)
  • 80 g yellow capsicum (cut into small cubes)
  • 15 g daun sup, (chopped)
  • 10 g lime leaf (chopped)
  • 20 g blue pea flower

Garnishing

  • 30 g fried shallots

Cubie function: Convection

Method

STEP 1

Place all blended ingredients into Panasonic Blender and press 2 to blend till smooth.

STEP 2

Next place blended ingredients into a casserole and place into Panasonic Big Cubie Oven.

STEP 3

Set to Convection function, 230°C and set time to 15 minutes.

STEP 4

Once done transfer the paste into Panasonic rice cooker. Place rice, water, cinnamon stick, cardamom, ghee, salt and chicken concentrate into rice cooker.

STEP 5

Close rice cooker and select White Regular function and press start.

STEP 6

Once done remove rice into a bowl and toss in the natural colour garnishing.

STEP 7

Sprinkle some fried shallots onto it and best served with ayam masak merah or kurma ayam.
