Panasonic presenting nearly 52 billion VND to Vietnamese students after 15 years

Hanoi, 20 September 2019 – Students from 11 universities in Vietnam were honored at Panasonic scholarship 2019 ceremony in Panasonic Risupia Vietnam today. It is the first time that Panasonic extended the number of scholars from 10 to 15 to students in all universities in Vietnam, which increased the total value up to nearly 52 billion VND after 15 years implemented in the country.

With the participation of representatives from schools and families of the new scholars, the ceremony created a warm atmosphere. It was also a good opportunity for the scholars received funding to share about the benefits that they have gained from the program in the process of learning, developing and fulfilling their dreams for the future.

Ass. Prof. Dr. Luu Duc Thanh commented: “Panasonic scholarship program has been with Vietnamese students in providing not only practical financial support but also a great motivation for them to overcome difficulties, endeavor to strive and cultivate their dreams of technology, technique, construction, business and other fields to develop themselves and contribute to society.”

In 2019, Panasonic scholarship program was applied for senior students graduating in the summer of 2020, worth of 30,000,000 VND each and also training courses of communication and presentation skills or career support activities through workshops and team-building activities held regularly in the Panasonic scholarship community.

Panasonic scholarship is an annual program of Panasonic, officially launched in Vietnam in 2004 to give the opportunity to nearly 80 students in Vietnam with 20 students continuing receiving it.
