How to curl hair with straighteners
Everyone dreams of achieving the perfectly tousled beach wave, but what if we told you the secret to achieving the wave, is in fact using straighteners!
Straighteners will be your new best friend to achieve on-trend curls, think natural waves and bouncy loose curls, rather than corkscrew curls made by traditional curling tools.
Don’t fret if you have tried using straighteners before and find yourself in a bit of the tangle, as we have four steps below that will simplify your technique.
1: Prep hair and section hair
For long-lasting curls, spritz hair with heat protecting spray and hairspray, then part hair into equal sections that are roughly 2-inches thick.
2: Position diagonally down
The key to not getting your hands in a twist, is knowing exactly where the straighteners need to be. Position the Panasonic EH-HS0E: Enrich + Advanced Care Hair Straighteners at the root of your hair, with the nose pointing downwards. Twist the straighteners in one full rotation away from your face, whilst gliding them down the length of your hair.
3: Style the curls
To achieve the desired look and create different style, you can manipulate the direction of the curl. For example, style curls away from your face to frame your features or curl the hair in the same direction for a soft, Hollywood curl.
4: Repeat & Comb
Repeat the steps above until all the hair is curled all over. Then take a wide-tooth comb and gently comb through the lengths of the curls, to create the desired curl or wave.
